There’s no place like home!
How true that is, Washington will always be our original home but we are
so excited to make our little niche here in Kansas! Settling here has been quite an adventure, and
I feel like we are pioneers trekking in reverse. We’ve staked our claim in the Pacific
Northwest and now we are heading back to our roots in the Midwest.
Here are a few pictures of our little piece of Wichita. Hope the day is going well for you all and I
also hope your home feels like home wherever you may be in the world.
Our Front door!
Our town home is 3 stories tall, with one full bath and one have bath. It has two bedrooms with large closet spaces and a finished basement. Also, we have a utility room and a cute little back yard.
The living room and front door
More of the Living room
Our new couch! We were hoping it would fit in the basement, unfortunately, it didn't fit through the door frame to the basement, so it remains upstairs
To the Kitchen |
I love all the cabinets and storage space in this home, especially in the Kitchen
Our town home complex has 2 pools and 2 hot tubs. We will be putting those to use in the Summer!
Our little fenced part of our back yard. I am hoping to get a Grill and start a veggie garden!
The downstairs half bath |
Down to the basement
Some of our stuff is still in boxes because we don't have much furniture or shelves yet
Utility Room
So happy we have a washer & dryer in the house!

Office Room (2nd bedroom) |
We also have a balcony off of the Office room |
We don't have a computer desk yet, so we fashioned one from a couple of TV trays and an end table :P |
2nd Bedroom Closets |
Love the closet space! |
Master Bathroom |
We also have a sink in our Master bedroom! It's great cuz Adam and I literally have our own sinks and space to get ready in the morning |
Master Closet
I unfortunately didn't get the best picture of the master bedroom, despite the picture it is a rather large master bedroom |
Also, I wanted to share a lovely song Adam gave to me which
I think truly expresses the famous saying, “Home is where the heart is.” Enjoy!
